Elizabeth Cushwa is a Government Relations consultant who actively works with multiple clients representing a wide spectrum of
interests. In this capacity, she advises and helps her clients develop their specific goals and strategies, and advocates for
them in the legislature and in state administrative agencies. She also represents her clients in coalition and stakeholder meetings.
Prior to her service in the 2007 and 2008 legislative sessions, Elizabeth acted as campaign finance manager to 8 political campaigns, working for both candidate and measure
committees in Oregon. Her prior government experience includes acting as the Community Outreach Director for Rich Township, in Chicago’s south suburbs, where her
concentrations included leadership development, diversity initiatives and public relations.
Cushwa is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies. She has also received her
certification as a Leadership Development Instructor for community colleges, and as an Executive Director for the National Community Leadership Association.
Elizabeth has three children, ages 14-22, and resides in Portland, Oregon.
